This website is a portfolio of my work spanning my art class days in high school to the present day projects I work on while studying for my BFA in Graphic Design at Northeastern University.
Many of my paintings and drawings are pieces done in high school (works 2005-2007). I love exploring themes of color and the feelings they invoke when mixed and compared to one another, and the use of high contrast lights and darks to convey emotion. My favorite medium to work with is acrylic paint, but I love to mix mediums to create collages which allow exploration of texture in an otherwise two-dimensional image.
Today, I'm exploring as many areas of artwork as I can. I've been learning Adobe programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects, Dreamweaver and Flash. I've experimented in movie editing with the Mac program iMovie. And offscreen I've been continuing my painting and sketching, moving on to exploration of paint on different surfaces, like fabric, cardboard, and wood.
Please feel free to email me for my resume, or if you have any questions or comments. Thanks!
